Named Agency of Record, Ootem Develops Brand Identity and Marketing Strategy for Viivo, a New Cloud Security Application from PKWARE
February 8th, 2013(SAN FRANCISCO, CA – February 8, 2013) Ootem, a San Francisco-based advertising agency was named agency of record by PKWARE, the industry leader for data security, for their new Cloud security application, Viivo. Viivo offers products that make sharing, exchanging, and securing important information in the Cloud safe and simple.
Hired in May 2012 after a national review of agencies, Ootem was selected to develop the entire brand identity, from creating a name, logo, tagline, and website, to designing the icons for the mobile application. Ootem also created and executed a launch marketing plan for Viivo that included online and mobile advertising, search, and social media.
“This has been an exciting new venture for us”, said Matt Little, Product Manager at PKWARE. “The product development happened at the same time as the brand development, so it’s been a very dynamic process. We searched for an agency resource that understood how consumers and enterprise connect with the Cloud, and knew how to launch a brand from the ground up. Based on the success of Viivo’s launch, PKWARE has tapped Ootem to expand marketing efforts throughout North America and select countries.

MoMo’s Selects Ootem as Agency of Record, and Launches New Website for Popular/Flagship/Reknowned Restaurant
August 3rd, 2012Oōtem, was named agency of record by Golden Bear Restaurants, whose family of eateries include MoMo’s, Pete’s, and Pedro’s on King Street, as well as the new Mission Rock Resort. Hired in April 2012, Ootem is partnering with the Golden Bear team
to redesign websites and develop marketing strategies for all the properties, including the highly anticipated opening of the Mission Rock Resort in August 2012.
MoMo’s, Pete’s Tavern, and Pedro’s Cantina are situated across from AT&T Ballpark on King Street, and are popular pre- and post-game stops for Giants. The Golden Bear empire is spreading south.
Oōtem’s services for the campaign have included marketing and brand planning, logo and brand identity, website, videos, social media, public relations, collateral, media planning and buying.
Oōtem Selected by Kazaana for Launch Marketing Strategy
August 3rd, 2012Oōtem, will plan and execute all advertising strategy and creative for Kazaana, a new online creativity platform for kids ages 6-12. Kazaana combines smart tools for parental control with cutting-edge technology and design to transform family interaction online, and create a social platform that allows kids to express themselves in a safe, family-friendly environment.

Oōtem Drives Global Rebranding Strategy and North American Launch for Apica

Oōtem Advertising Hires Seashal Belldina to Lead New Business Development

Before Oōtem, Mrs. Belldina was VP of Digital, West, for Time Inc.’s corporate department. In this role, Seashal and her team designed large-scale multi-media packages across 30 Time Inc. magazines. She also assisted in the launch Time Inc.’s new audience targeting solution, Time Axcess.
Prior to Time Inc., Mrs. Belldina held the role of VP, West Coast, for Centro where she developed a sales and media planning/buying team which purchased local digital media for major brands across several categories including auto, entertainment, travel, adult beverages and more.
Before Centro, Mrs. Belldina was Vice President at About.com, a New York Times Company, where she led a sales team and was responsible for developing large-scale, strategic advertising projects.
Mrs. Belldina is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in international business. During her advertising career, she has been a founding board member of the Las Vegas Interactive Marketing Association (LIVMA) and a board member of the Bay Area Interactive Group (SF BIG).
